Topologies of writing,Text and the Moving Image
I will present three of my recent video-works that engage with topologies of writing, text and the moving image. Through processes of assemblage, re-appropriation of browser doings and search engine procedures the video works disorientate normative boundaries, and surface intensities of word/image. The works incorporate strategies of excessive postproduction through use of multiplicity and overlap to make connections between philosophies and ‘writing-ness’, flickering hauntology of the cinematic and the patriarchal world of art. The video works explore unruly disorderly unfolding affectivities of writing and image/word-making across a network of disciplines and structures
