Abstract / Summary

While the history of digital humanities, with its origins in humanities computing, stems back to the 1950s, this paper concentrates on the developments that have taken place in computer mediated communication since the internet boom (and subsequent bust) of the late 1990s and early 2000s, especially how social networks and the range of technologies and practices generally referred to as Web 2.0 are opening up new techniques for considering the relations of Romantic texts—Blake in particular—as part of the fabric of everyday contexts and discourses.
