Abstract / Summary
This essay examines two poems by Oswald, from her collection Woods, etc. to reveal a 21st century philosophy regarding the body-soul dichotomy. The two poems explore the permeability of the body, as an unstable entity; they are also highly dependent on form in their exploration, both poetic and physical form.
