Moving Landscapes was a partnership project between Grays Wharf and Rachael Jones, a filmmaker and researcher who uses collaborative processes to explore alternative recordings of the landscape.
Three artists, Kitty Hillier, Rosanna Martin and Oliver Raymond-Barker, collaborated with Rachael to record circular walks in the landscape; producing audio and visual materials as a starting point for new works in film, photography, sculpture and ceramics.
The artists also developed creative activities for people living with dementia, and their families and carers, to engage with at home. All of the work created by the artists and participants, as well as two new films by Rachael, was brought together in the exhibition.
